We're back!

And we return to our weight loss competition that continued through our vacation even if we did not weigh in.  Kimberly and I seemed to survive relatively unscathed as I managed to weigh in only 4 tenths higher than i did at our weigh in two weeks ago.  Kim bounced back up to 142.2 as she continues to yo-yo between 141 and 142 so the vacation did not seem to have any ill effects on her weight either.  This was a vacation filled with lots of lobster and butter and soups comprised entirely of cream so I am quite pleased with where we currently are.  Jen forget to weigh in today so I'll be updating the blog tomorrow with her numbers.  We are drawing very close to our mid-competition reward as that weigh in takes place on june 8th the day before Jen leaves for what will certainly be a food indulgent cruise.  I also ran 3 miles in less than 30 minutes yesterday which probably hasn't occured since highschool, averaging less than 10 minutes per mile.  Maybe for motivation I should have Kimbo post her running times on here as encouragement.  If you think we should post our running times as well please leave a comment saying so.

Kim     142.2

  1. Great to hear you survived the trip with almost no weight gain. I think you should post your running time. Don,t forget to work on flattening the abs.Your lobster stew looks delicious, it's amazing you guys didn't gain more weight!

  2. Working on abs without reducing fat doesn't do anything for you because the muscle grows behind the fat and actually pushes your stomach out further. your better off focusing on losing weight itself than doing a 1000 sit ups
